Black Mambas
Black Mambas don't get their name from their scale color, which is olive grey, they get it from their mouth, which is all black. These very venomous snakes are the most deadliest snakes in the world. Their venom is strong enough to kill 200 humans per bite. These snakes have been known to take down African Elephants, the largest land animal. Black Mambas will hunt mice, voles, rats, sometimes birds, and even other snakes. This snake will hide under a dead tree or a rock. When prey walks past it, the Black Mamba strikes, holding on like a dog. It then releases huge amounts of venom. When the prey is finally dead it will let go and bring it back to its hole to feast on.

Did you read anything about how many human beings are killed by these snakes each year?
