These badgers live in the plains of the African savanna and will eat snakes and you guessed it, honey. Their hunting technique entailed getting honey out of a bee hive. First they will find a honeyguide. (A bird that helps people or animals find honey) The honeyguide will locate the hive. When they are at the hive the honey badger goes inside the nest and tries to scare the bees away. If that plan backfires the honey badger, or should I say relative of the skunk, sprays a liquid that smells just like skunk spray. That drives the bees away from their hive for the honeyguide and honey badger. That just shows how fierce these predators are.
Jimmy and Peter`s Predator Blog will show the awesome predators of the animal world including Mammals, Reptiles and Amphibians, Birds, Fish, and invertebrates. If you like animals you will love this Blog!
